Baking Contest
Think you’ve got the best fall recipe? Put your baking skills to the test and enter our Fall-Themed Baking Contest!
Categories- Best of the Patch – Anything pumpkin or gourd
- Orchard’s Delight – Apple, pear, or peach (if it grows in the orchard, it’s in!)
- Jr. Baker – A special category for bakers 16 and under. Submissions may be apple or pumpkin themed.
- Best of the Dorm – For college-aged bakers: creative apple or pumpkin desserts made without the standard equipment of a conventional kitchen
- Taste & texture
- Appearance
- Creativity
- Overall impression
- Amy’s caramel apples
- Pampered Chef kitchen items
- A voucher for two at Basse’s Farms
- A “Pamper the Chef” personal care basket
- All entries must include a recipe card with an ingredient list
- Entries must fit into one of the four baking categories
- Deliver entries to the FBC Fellowship Hall by 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 5
- Winners will be announced during the 4:00 PM service
