Deaf Ministry

Falls Baptist Church loves the Deaf!

Our burden is to reach the deaf and their families for Christ and train them to reach other deaf with the hope that Jesus gives.

All Deaf are Welcome to visit!

The deaf members of Falls Baptist Church would like to invite any deaf people in our community to come by and visit. We would love to show you how Christ can give you victory in your personal lives and in your families. There are many opportunities to grow in your relationship with God.

Sunday
Morning

We have Deaf Bible study every Sunday morning at 9:00am. These Bible studies are divided into small groups for men, women, and young people. At 10:45am we join the Sunday Morning Service to be blessed by Pastor Van Gelderen’s preaching, which is fully interpreted for the deaf.

Wednesday
Evening

At 7:00pm on Wednesdays we have a midweek service specifically for the deaf. We are helped by clear teaching from God’s Word and are able to encourage and pray for one another.

Special
Events

We have many special events throughout the year for the deaf including evangelistic meetings, Vacation Bible School, Bible studies, fellowships, retreats, hikes and picnics. You will find these events a wonderful way to grow in your relationship with God and to help you build strong friendships that will encourage you to follow Jesus.

What about my children?

We are pleased to provide basic Bible church for deaf teens and young adults. This is a helpful time for young people to grow in their knowledge of the Bible and understand what God wants them to do to follow Him.

If your children are hearing there are many opportunities for them to get involved in the hearing children’s ministries of Falls Baptist Church.

Need a ride?

We are happy to provide free transportation for the deaf for most events. We use a church van to pick you up at your home. We will do our best to accommodate you, but cannot promise that we will be able to provide a ride since we are sometimes limited by distance or location.

I would like a ride!

All services are interpreted for the deaf and hearing impaired.
